Zentralbahn is one of the largest and most innovative metre-gauge railways in Switzerland. With around 400 employees, it provides the population and guests of central Switzerland and the Bernese Oberland with excellent regional passenger services and connects the top tourist destinations of Lucerne–Interlaken Ost and Lucerne–Engelberg. The railway company also operates the Meiringen–Innertkirchen line.
