A day trip on Lake Brienz.
Your leisurely day trip begins with a boat trip from Brienz to Giessbach (See). From here, a nostalgic railway takes you up to Hotel Giessbach and the waterfalls. On the second section of the trip, you can choose the footpath along the lake to Iseltwald (approx. 1.5 hours). On the way, you’ll pass a pleasant rest area with barbecue facilities. You will also have several opportunities to take a cooling dip in the water. You can take the return journey by boat.
Important information.
Take the Zentralbahn train to Brienz and from there continue by boat to Giessbach.
It is also possible to take the return journey by boat – back to Brienz or on to Interlaken Ost.
